Seriously, can you think of better sounds to start your week to? All that sprightly music coupled with the japanese lyrics are just like floating through a happy dream world where butterflies sing to you and the grass feels like velvet. Don’t know much about this Shugo guy but I guess he is big in Japan. Ha.

Giddy
Today I am a giddy school girl, quite literally. First day of classes and I am happier than I have been in 5 months. THESE are the best years of our lives. These are the years before REAL jobs, mortgages, and actually growing the fuck up.
University has changed my life - completely, period.
I have been so blessed with such amazing teachers that are so passionate about their lives and the subjects they teach. Maybe i'm just fascinated with how much science interacts with everyday life, but it makes life so different. When you know how interesting arthropods are you are less likely to kill the spider on your wall. I think it's neat that I can calculate what time my friend will be sober by the next day. Science has made me appreciate life on a whole other level. Life is complex and everything has a reason and an answer. Life is black and white, and I LOVE it.
I absolutely love all the people I have met too. I have met REAL people, who are not afraid to tell me what they do and don't like. Who have taught me when to speak up and when to shut the fuck up. I've met people who tell me exactly how it is, what I can and can't change in any situation. I've met great friends through the all nighters at the school, through all the beers before and after classes, through 12/35 phylums of the animal kingdom, through the dicking around till 4 am, and through justifying spending your last $60 on liquor for the "epic" night that's about to happen. When your friends offer to let you stay at their house during the year and drive you to school just so you can financially make things work, you realize that the friends you have made are FAMILY. They sincerely care and they will be my family for the next 6 years, through vet school, and for life.
