I went to value village the other day and bought a rugged looking sweater for $4.99, and to Fabric land and bought some sheer fabric for $1.29. I cut holes out of the sweater and stitched around each of them to prevent fraying - because this fabric is really finicky. After that I flipped the sweater inside out and pinned the fabric and did another stitch. It's a VERY easy DIY, but all you need is A LOT of time! aaand Ta-Da a DIY Alexander Wang sweater.
Total savings: $588.72 :)
